DigitalDreamDoor.com: 100 Greatest Progressive Rock Artists

100 Greatest Progressive Rock Artists

D
igitalDreamDoor.com has produced many lists under a number of headings, such as by instrument, genre and year. In their disclaimer they say, “There is nothing 'official' about these lists. They are compiled by the editor”. The criteria for this '100 Greatest Progressive Rock Artists' page is stated as, “These bands were chosen for their complex, dynamic, & multi-dimensional playing, their original use of multi-movement compositions involving theme, structure and scope in addition to their impact on this vital genre of music.” Further to the list of 100, which is actually 200, DigitalDreamDoor.com has also created sub-lists, such as The 10 Best Symphonic Prog Artists and The 10 Best Neo-Progressive Bands.
